Dr. Singamsetty Srinivas
Experience: | 3 years |
Education: | Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences |
Academic degree: | MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) |
Area of specialization: | I am a doctor who had chance to work across almost all deparments during my clinical journey, and that exposure shaped me in many diff ways. In medicine nothing is isolated, so moving from general medicine to pediatrics, then spending time in emergency, surgery, gynae and even ICU taught me how interconnected every system is. Some days it was about managing a simple fever or anemia, other days about critical trauma case where minutes decide outcomes. That mix kept me on my toes and gave me flexibility to adjust my apporach depending on patient condition.
I learned to handle OPD consults with calm, listen properly, not rush, while in casualty the same me had to act fast, push decisions, stabilise first and think later. In wards I followed up chronic disease like hypertension, diabetes, liver disorders, and realised how preventive health and patient education actually makes huge difference. I also assisted in surgical and ortho cases, where hands on skill matter more than words. All these rotation gave me practical knowledge of diagnosis, treatment planning, counselling families, and understanding that every patient is different.
I enjoy the variety in work, and dont want to be limited by only one narrow focus. This broad background allows me to provide care with wider lens, whether its general medicine, pediatrics, emergency care, or supporting surgical units. |
Achievements: | I am called a good acheiver by many around me, not just for exam scores but for way I stay focused on tasks and keep learning with each case. During my 2 yrs of medical practice I pushed myself to balance patient care, study and clinical duties, and in most places I worked seniors trusted me with responibility early. That trust meant a lot. For me achievement is not one medal but daily effort of managing patients properly, gaining skills and keeping consistency in medical practice. |
I am a MBBS doctor with around 2 yrs of hands on work in hospitals and clinic setups, and my role so far has been mix of managing general medicine cases, acute emergencies and follow ups that need patient trust more than just prescription. During this period I treated patients from different age group and backgronds, from common fever to complex systemic disorder, and I realised how important clarity in diagnosis is before rushing to treatment. I try to make medical advice simple, not overloaded with heavy jargons, so patients and families can actually understand what is happening with their health. Most of my work exp came from direct OPD consults, ward duties and assisting in emergency care where things move fast and decisions have to be quick, sometimes without much time to rethink. Those moments gave me confidence but also a lot of respect for teamwork, nurses, paramedics, everyone plays a part. I also worked on preventive health measures, guiding patients on lifestyle, diet and long term disease managment, and small interventions like these made me see how prevention really reduce hospital load. I keep myself updated through clinical discussions and by observing senior doctors, always picking up nuances that books dont show. Two years may not sound very long but in medicine every day brings new learning, some stressful, some rewarding. I am trying to balance technical skill with human side of care—listening, being patient, explaining things clearly. That is something I want to carry forward in all my future practice.
