Experience:
5 years
Education:
Ramchandani Menka Sachanand
Academic degree:
MS (Master Of Surgrey)
Area of specialization:
I am working in obstetrics and gynecology with focus on women’s health across many stages of life. I deal with puberty related concerns, helping young girls and their families understand changes that can be confusing or even scary sometimes. My work also include preconception care, guiding couples before pregnancy on health checkups, nutrition and risk factors. During antenatal care I manage both normal and high risk pregnancies, making sure mother and baby stay monitored throughout. In gynec practice I see patients with menstrual problems, irregular cycles, heavy bleeding, painful periods and related disorders. PCOS is very common now, and I spend time explaining lifestyle, diet, and long term health impacts along with treatment. Infertility is another area where I assist couples, doing evaluation and stepwise management, keeping both medical and emotional aspects in mind. For me each patient story is different, sometimes very straightforward, other times needing months of follow up. I try to combine clear communication with evidence based care, cause women often hesitate to share openly about reproductive health until they feel trust. Whether it’s a teenager, a young woman planning family, or someone dealing with menopause issues, I aim to provide support that go beyond just prescription, making the care feel complete and personal.
Achievements:
I am honored to recieve the Amogs Paper Presentation Award, which for me was not just about winning but about the effort that went into preparing, researching and presenting my work in front of peers. Standing there sharing ideas, answering questions and defending points gave me confidence and also taught me humility, cause every feedback helped me grow. This recognition still remind me why academic contribution matter in medical practice.

I am an MBBS, MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and after completing my degree I got the chance to work at TATA Memorial Hospital, which was a huge learning ground for me. Working there exposed me to complex gynecological and oncological cases, high patient volumes and situations where decisions had to be made quickly yet with precision. Those early years taught me that this field is not just about clinical skill, but also about resilience and empathy for women who come in with very different stories and needs. After passing out I have gathered 5 years of work experience in obstetrics and gynecology, dealing with both routine and high risk obstetric cases. Managing pregnancies where complications like preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, or preterm labor arise is something I am trained for, and every such case remind me how fragile yet strong this journey can be. I also provide gynecological care ranging from menstrual problems, PCOS, infertility evaluation, fibroids, ovarian cysts, to menopausal issues. In surgical practice I perform cesarean deliveries, hysterectomies and gynecological procedures, and I maintain a strong interest in minimally invasive approaches that help women recover faster with fewer complications. The surgical part is important, but what I equally value is counseling—explaining to patients and families what to expect, reducing fear, and making sure they feel supported throughout treatment. I keep my approach patient centered, looking not just at reports or symptoms but also at how a condition affect daily life. Many women hesitate to share openly, especially about reproductive health, and creating a space where they feel comfortable is as important as writing the right prescription. Over time, my experience has shown me that obstetrics and gynecology is a balance between science and sensitivity—knowing when to act firmly and when to just listen.
