MS (Master Of Surgrey)
Area of specialization:
I am an orthopedic surgeon with a practice that cover joint replacement, arthroscopy, trauma care, Ilizarov techniques, rheumatology and sports medicine. My focus in joint replacement is on helping patients with damaged hip, knee or shoulder joints regain movement and live with less pain. Arthroscopic work let me treat ligament injuries, meniscus tears and sports related issues through small keyhole procedures that heal quicker. In trauma surgery I manage fractures and accident injuries where quick and correct decision making matter the most. With Ilizarov surgery I work on limb lengthening, deformity correction and non union fractures, which require patience from both doctor and patient. My rheumatology work include treating rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune related joint problems, combining medicines with long term follow up. Sports medicine also form an important part of my practice, where I support athletes and active people to recover safely from injuries and return to performance. For me, each area connect with the other, and I try to see patient as whole rather than just focusing on one joint or one problem.
Achievements:
I am working as an Assistant Professor at CMR Medical College and Hospital, where I balance clinical work with teaching responsibilities. Guiding students while also treating patients keep me grounded, sometimes the theory and practice dont match perfectly but that’s where real learning happen. Being part of academic faculty allow me to share knowledge, encourage research and also keep myself updated with current guidelines. It is a role that challanges me and also give meaning to my daily practice.

I am an orthopedic surgeon working across multiple subspecialties, each one shaping the way I see patient care. My main focus is joint replacement surgery, where I help patients with advanced arthritis or trauma regain mobility with knee, hip or shoulder replacement. Every case feels different, sometimes straightforward, sometimes technically demanding, but seeing someone walk again without pain is a satisfaction hard to explain. Along with this I practice arthroscopic surgery—handling sports injuries, ligament tears, meniscus problems—using minimally invasive methods that allow quicker recovery. Trauma surgery is another major part of my work. Road traffic accidents, fractures, complex injuries, all of them require timely decision making. In trauma wards, speed and accuracy decide outcome, and I learned that teamwork with anesthetists and nurses matter as much as surgical skill. I am also trained in Ilizarov surgery, a technique for limb lengthening, deformity correction, and treating non-union fractures. It’s a demanding method, takes patience from both surgeon and patient, but when successful it change life for people who had given up on walking properly. My practice also touch rheumatology and sports medicine. Many patients with chronic pain come with rheumatoid arthritis, lupus or other autoimmune issues, and here I focus on medical management, rehabilitation and long term care. Sports medicine is growing fast—athletes, young adults, even school students presenting with overuse injuries, ligament sprains, shoulder dislocations. Treating them is not just about surgery, but guiding rehab, strengthening and safe return to activity. I try to keep a patient centered approach, explaining options, risks and outcomes clearly. Surgery is one part of treatment, but recovery, counseling and follow up are equally important. Sometimes patients are scared, sometimes they are impatient, and part of my role is to balance hope with realistic expectations. For me orthopedics is not just about fixing bones, it is about restoring confidence and independence in daily life
