Dr. Neelam Badani
Experience: | 8 years |
Education: | Maharaja Krishan Kumar Bhavsingh University |
Academic degree: | MS (Master Of Surgrey) |
Area of specialization: | I am working as an infertility specialist and my main focus is on helping couples who struggle to concieve, guiding them through evaluations, treatments, and options that are most suited for their condition. Over time I realised it’s not just medical protocols but also constant support and empathy that makes a huge difference for them. Alongside infertility care, I also practice as a laproscopy surgeon, doing procedures for diagnosis and treatment of gynecological problems with minimal invasion. This allow faster recovery, less pain and better outcomes, and I find it rewarding when patients return back to daily life sooner.
I also handle high risk deliveries, where every decision carry weight and sometimes change needs to be made within minutes. Managing such cases taught me patience, alertness, and the importance of team work in labour room. Whether it is hypertension in pregnancy, gestational diabetes, or complex fetal conditions, I stay focused on keeping both mother and baby safe.
My specialization feels broad but connected, since infertility, laproscopy and high risk obstetrics often overlap in women’s health journey. I try to integrate medical expertise with personal care, making sure my patients feel they are in safe hands while also being heard and understood. |
Achievements: | I am proud to say I completed my MBBS from MKBU, where I laid the foundation of my medical career, followed by pursuing MS also from MKBU which gave me deeper clinical training and surgical exposure. These years shaped not only my academic base but also my practical approach to patient care. Going through both degrees in same institution gave me continuty in learning, strong mentorship and chance to refine skills across different rotations. Each stage helped me grow into more confident and responsible doctor, capable of handling diverse cases with focus on accuracy and empathy. |
I am working in the medical field from last 9 years, and during this time I had chance to see and manage wide variety of cases, some routine, some very challenging. Each year added new experiance, not only in terms of clinical skill but also in understanding people, their concerns, and the importance of building trust. My practice over these years stretched across OPD consultations, in-patient care, emergencies and follow ups, which gave me a very balanced exposure. In early part of my journey I focused more on learning and building foundation, observing seniors and applying protocols carefully. Slowly I started handling more responsibility, managing patients independently, planning treatments and dealing with unexpected complications when they arise. Those moments, though stressful, teached me resilience and patience. Over 9 years, I have developed confidence in making quick yet safe clinical decisions, whether in emergency setting or regular patient care. I also learnt that medicine is not only about prescribing or procedure but about listening, explaining in simple words and making sure patient and family feel supported. My experiance also pushed me to keep learning, updating with latest guidelines and evidence based practices. Today, I bring this combined knowledge of 9 years to my work every day, balancing technical skills with empathy. While I still see myself learning continuously, I feel these years shaped me into a doctor who can adapt, manage complex scenarios, and deliver care with professionalism but also human touch.
