Doctor information
Experience:
2 years
Education:
Apollo Cancer Institute
Academic degree:
MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
Area of specialization:
I am working in Radiation Oncology and Clinical Oncology, where my role is to diagnose, plan and deliver treatment for patients dealing with wide range of cancers. My focus is on advanced radiation therapy techniques like IMRT, IGRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, as well as systemic clinical oncology protocols when they are needed. Cancer care is never simple, each case carry its own challanges, and my aim is to combine precise technology with compassionate approach. I deal with patients of head & neck cancers, brain tumors, breast, lung, GI malignancies and also some rare conditions that require multidisciplinary care. Sometimes treatment is about shrinking tumors, sometimes it is about giving relief from pain or improving quality of life, and other times it is about long term cure. Every patient journey is different, and I try to create plans that are personalised not just to the disease but to the person behind it. There are moments when outcomes are uncertain, when progress is slower or faster than expected, and those times remind me how fragile life can be. But it also drive me to keep learning, to stay updated with evolving oncology research, and to be present for my patients not just as a doctor but as someone who listens. For me, oncology is not only about fighting cancer with machines and medicines, it is about guiding patients and families with clarity and steady support through one of the hardest phases of their lives.
Achievements:
I am proud to share that I was honored with a Gold medal from AROI at the National level, a recognition that mark my dedication and effort in the field of oncology. This award was not just about academic performance but also about staying consistent with research, clinical knowledge and contribution to patient care. Getting acknowledged among peers and seniors in such a respected platform was both motivating and humbling. It remind me daily to keep pushing myself, refining skills and remain fully committed to quality cancer care, even when the path feels tough or uncertain.

I am working now as Associate Consultant in Radiation Oncology and Clinical Oncology at Apollo Hospital Hyderabad, where my day to day practice revolves around treating cancer patients using advanced radiation therapy and multidisciplinary clinical approaches. My training and current work give me exposure to wide range of cancers—brain, head and neck, breast, lung, gastrointestinal, and more. Each case is different, each patient comes with own challanges, and I try to balance technology with empathy in guiding them through treatment. In oncology, precision matter so much. I focus on modern radiation techniques like IMRT, IGRT, stereotactic radiosurgery, along with systemic clinical oncology protocols when needed. But beyond machines and protocols, what keep me grounded is conversations with patients and families, explaining complex things in simple words, making them feel they are not alone in the process. Cancer treatment can be overwhelming, and sometimes just clarity and reassurance is as healing as the therapy itself. Before Apollo, my journey in medicine shaped me to handle both the technical and emotional side of oncology. Every patient I meet, whether in initial diagnosis or long term follow-up, remind me how important continuity of care is. I believe strongly in combining evidence based treatment with individualised plans, never forgetting that each patient is more than their disease. There are days when outcomes are difficult, when despite best effort the disease progress faster than expected. Those moments test patience and strength, but they also push me to keep learning, attending academic discussions, refining my practice. Oncology is constantly evolving, and working in a hospital like Apollo expose me to innovation and collaboration with experts across disciplines. My aim is simple—to provide comprehensive, safe and compassionate cancer care that not only targets the disease but support the patient’s quality of life during and after treatment.
