I am work as a dentist and in my practice I handle wide range of dental procedures, some simple and some more complex. I do painless tooth extraction, root canal treatment, fillings and also replacement of missing teeth with implants or dentures. For me every case is different, a small filling can restore comfort same as an implant can restore full smile, both matter equal to the patient. I also perform oral surgery that include impaction removal, cyst excision, tumor management, frenectomy and even pediatric dental surgeries. Surgery in mouth is delicate, it need patience and precision, but I try to keep it as safe and comfortable as possible. Many patients come worried about pain, and I make effort to reduce that fear by using proper technique and explaining steps clearly. Dentistry is not just fixing problems but also preventing them, so I put focus on regular check ups and advising habits that protect oral health long term. I think good communication and practical guidance are as important as clinical skills, because when patient understand what is happening they trust and follow treatment better.
Achievements:
I am pass out in 2020 and that year turn very different for me because I was working during the corona pandemic. It was tough time but also gave me chance to serve directly in crisis. For that contribution I was awarded by DCSS for better service and also recognised by MP former CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Later I was able to clear AIIMS JR exam with 4th rank which felt like a big step forward. These moments remind me that hard work and patient care always matter most!!

I am Dr. Devender Thanwnai and I work as a dentist, and for me dentistry is not only about fixing teeth but about protecting overall health too. Many people dont realise that poor oral hygiene can affect the rest of the body, contributing to infections, heart disease, diabetes complications and other systemic problem. That’s why I always say dental care is not optional, it’s part of general healthcare. In my daily practice I guide patients with simple preventive advice, routine check ups, and treatment plans for cavities, gum disease, extractions and restorative work. I try to explain clearly how small steps like brushing properly, flossing, or visiting on time make a big diference in avoiding bigger issues later. For those already suffering, I focus on reducing pain quickly but also treating the root cause, not just the symptom. Working with patients over time showed me that communication is as important as clinical skill. Some people come in very anxious, others delay treatment until pain is unbearable. I spend time explaining procedures in simple words, because when a patient understand what is happening they feel more in control and less fearful. I believe dentistry is a partnership — dentist and patient working together. My goal is not just to treat problems when they arise but to encourage long term oral health that support better quality of life. Healthy teeth and gums mean eating comfortably, speaking confidently, and reducing risk for systemic illness. At the end, what I value most is seeing a patient leave not only relieved but also aware of how to protect their smile for the future. That is the part of my work that give me satisfaction and keep me committed to practicing dentistry with care and honesty every single day.
