Baroda Medical College
Academic degree:
MD (Doctor of Medicine)
Area of specialization:
I am working as dermatologist with focus on skin, hair, nail and cosmetic care, and over the years I realized these areas overlap more than people expect. Many times a patient come for hairfall but also has underlying scalp or hormonal issue, or someone comes with nail changes that turn out to be linked with systemic disease. In skin care I manage conditions like acne, pigmentation, eczema, infections and chronic disorders, but also provide aesthetic treatments for anti aging, scars and overall skin rejuvenation. Hair treatments are another part of my work, ranging from common hair loss management to advanced therapies. Nail disorders often get ignored but I give equal importance to them, because they can reflect deeper health problem. In cosmetic dermatology I perform procedures like chemical peels, lasers, fillers and other minimally invasive interventions, always keeping in mind safety and natural results. I try to combine evidence based treatment with simple lifestyle advice, because without patient cooperation nothing really works. Sometimes people expect miracle results too quick, and I explain the realistic outcomes in clear words. Communication, trust and tailoring care to each person is what makes my practice meaningful, even if the path is not always perfct.
Achievements:
I am a gold medalist during my medical training, something that still feels both rewarding and a little heavy to carry because it keep raising the bar for me. It was not just about scoring high, but about consistency and discipline that went into years of study, late nights and the kind of focus you can’t always describe. That recognition also pushed me to work harder in clinical side, to make sure my academic achievement actually mean something for patients. I see it as a marker of my commitment to learning and applying medical knowledge in the most practical way. While awards look nice on paper, for me it was more of a reminder that effort pays off, and that efficiency, detail and persistence are qualities I need to hold on to every single day in practice. Sometimes I feel it’s just a medal, but it still shaped how I approach my carrer, trying to balance excellence with empathy.

I am working as a consultant dermatologist and cosmetologist from Gujarat, where my focus stay on both medical dermatology and aesthetic care. Over time I’ve come to see that skin problems are not just about appearance, they often connect with deeper health issues or even the way someone feels about themselves. My work involves diagnosing and treating conditions like acne, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infection, hair fall, pigment disorders and also providing cosmetic solutions like anti-aging treatments, chemical peels, laser procedures, scar reduction and overall skin rejuvenation. I try to keep a balance between evidence based medicine and a patient friendly approach, because not everyone comes with the same expectations or tolerance for treatment. During consultation I pay attention not just to the prescription part but also to counseling, small lifestyle tweaks, explaining what to expect and what not to. I feel communication is as important as the medicine itself. Cosmetic dermatology is growing fast and patients are more aware now, sometimes over aware from internet searches, so a large part of my role is clarifying doubts and building trust. In my practice I focus on long term results, not quick fixes. A good treatment plan should be sustainable, safe and tailored to each indiviual. Whether I am treating a chronic skin condition or doing an aesthetic procedure, my goal is to help patients feel more comfortable in their own skin. Mistakes do happen, like small spelling in reports or delays, but I keep learning from them and move ahead. At the end of day, being a dermatologist is less about perfection and more about consistency, patience and empathy for every person who walks into the clinic.
