Dr. Chhavi
Experience: | 2 years |
Education: | Chaudhary Charan Singh University |
Academic degree: | Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) |
Area of specialization: | I am an orthodontist who kinda can't stop noticing smiles—even random ppl on the street, I’m like silently checking alignment lol. I honestly believe a smile does wayyy more than just look nice. It changes how ppl feel about themselves. That’s why I’m really into creating treatment plans that *actually* fit the person, not just the case. Everyone’s goals are different—some just want straighter teeth, others dealing with jaw discomfort, spacing probs, crowding, bite issues.. the list goes on.
Whether it's metal braces, clear aligners or other ortho options—I try to walk my patients through everything clearly. Like, no confusing jargon. Just real talk about what’s gonna work best and why. And yeah, I care about making it as easy and low-stress as possible. Dental chairs aren’t exactly known for comfort but we try, haha.
I think what makes ortho kinda amazing is it’s this mix of science and art?? Like you need to get things *technically* perfect, but also make the result feel natural on someone’s face. That balance is what I’m always working on—even the tiny midline shifts, or tooth angulations that most ppl don’t notice... I do. Can't help it. |
Achievements: | I am someone who really got into academic stuff during my dental journey—like I didn’t plan to chase awards but somehow they kinda happened. In 2019, I was named Best outgoing student (academics), which ngl felt good after all those late nights and coffee disasters. I did this poster at the Delhi Dental Show and won 2nd prize—still remember rushing to print it last minute lol. Also won 1st at the 4" World Dental Sciences & Oral Health Conference (that one was nerve-wrecking), and again at the 17th Natl Conference of Forensic Odontology at MAMC, Delhi—crazy smart crowd there. Oh and there was this World No Tobacco Day thing at our dental college in Muradnagar, made a poster and ended up bagging 1st there too. Didn’t expect it. |
I am Dr. Chhavi, B.D.S, M.D.S in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics. I’m an orthodontist, yeah—but more than that, I’d say I’m someone who just genuinely loves working with smiles. Like literally shaping them. It’s kinda amazing how a small change in alignment or bite can totally shift how someone feels about themself. I've been doing this for over 3 years now, and trust me, every patient teaches me something new. Some cases are straightforward—others not so much, but that’s what makes it worth it. My main focus is on orthodontic treatment planning, fixed appliance therapy, and dentofacial orthopaedics. I work with kids, teens, adults—there’s no age limit when it comes to improving oral health and confidence. Sometimes ppl think braces or aligners are just cosmetic but really they help with bite issues, speech probs, even jaw pain. And yeah, it takes time, but when that final result shows up… totally worth the effort (and the elastics 😅). I always try to keep things comfortable and real in the clinic. I know dental visits freak some ppl out, and that's okay. We go slow, we talk it out, and I always make sure they know why we're doing what we're doing. Honestly, the trust part matters just as much as the treatment itself. And while 3 years may not sound like a ton, it’s been intense. Clinics, training, conferences, back-to-back cases… the hustle doesn’t stop. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever stop being a lil obsessed with tiny details—wire bending, bracket placement, bite adjustments—but maybe that’s a good thing? Precision kinda runs the whole show in ortho. And even when I’m tired (which, yeah, happens more often than ppl think), seeing that smile transformation brings me back. Anyway—if you’re thinking about orthodontic care or just curious about your dental alignment, come through. We’ll figure it out, no pressure. It's not just about straight teeth. It's about balance, function, and yep—confidence too.
