Academic degree:
MD (Doctor of Medicine)
Area of specialization:
I am an MBBS, MD in Pediatrics and most of my work revolves around taking care of children right from newborn stage up to adolescence. Pediatrics isn’t just about treating fevers or infections—it’s about understanding growth, development, nutrition, vaccinations, emergencies, and those small signals that tell you something bigger is going on. My training gave me exposure to NICU, PICU, outpatient and inpatient care, so I learned to move between routine checkups and high-risk emergencies pretty fast. I work with parents a lot, explaining why certain treatments matter, or why preventive steps like timely immunizations make such a huge difference later. Managing high-risk newborns, pediatric emergencies like dehydration or seizures, and guiding families through recovery is a major part of what I do. For me, pediatrics is this balance of science and patience. You need the clinical knowledge but also the ability to calm anxious parents and make a child feel safe in the process. That’s what I try to bring into every case I handle.
Achievements:
I am proud to have been a Gold Medalist during my medical journey, something that still feels a bit surreal when I think back to those exam days. Being the topper in MBBS was not just about marks—it reflected all the late nights, endless revisions, and honestly the stress that came with it. I was also honored with the Pfizer Award, which felt like recognition not just for academic scores but also for the effort I put into clinical learning. These milestones keep reminding me why I chose medicine in the first place.

I am a pediatrician with about 30 yrs of work in managing everything from emergencies to routine OPD followups. Over the years I’ve been involved in stabilizing kids in PICU and NICU settings, handling neonatal resuscitation, intubations, and critical care where seconds matter. Emergency pediatrics still keeps me alert, cause every case is unpredictable—convulsions, severe infections, trauma, respiratory failure—and you just don’t get the luxury of long thinking. My practice also covers outpatient pediatrics, where growth monitoring, preventive care, and vaccinations form a large part of what I do. I’ve been part of immunization schedules for decades now, guiding parents through each stage and making sure preventive steps are taken seriously. I also manage inpatient pediatric cases, which can range from common infections to more complex, long-stay illnesses. I hold certifications in PALS, NRP, and BLS, which shaped my approach to pediatric life support and emergency response. These trainings reinforced that structured protocols plus calm decision making can save lives even in high pressure conditions. I’m registered with MCI/NMC (Reg No. M.P. 6767), and I’ve worked in setups where collaboration with nurses, junior doctors and specialists was essential. Team coordination is something I put a lot of emphasis on—clear roles, communication, and ensuring protocols are actually followed. What drives me still is the same thing that did 30 yrs ago—seeing children recover, helping parents feel reassured, and making healthcare less frightening for families. Pediatrics is demanding, yes, but it’s also deeply rewarding, and every child I treat reminds me why I continue in this field.
