Dr. Jahnavi
Experience: | 2 years |
Education: | Sri Venkateswara Medical College |
Academic degree: | MS (Master Of Surgrey) |
Area of specialization: | I am specialised in obstetrics and gynaecology, a field that keeps me grounded everyday because it deals with both life’s beginning and women’s health across different stages. My focus is on guiding expectant mothers through antenatal care, safe delivery whether normal or c section, and postnatal recovery. I also deal with common gynaec problems like irregular periods, hormonal imbalance, fibroids, infections and menopausal issues, and try to make each patient feel comfrtable enough to share openly.
I also work with preventive aspects like pap smear screening, breast health guidance, and counselling about contraception or family planning, cause I believe prevention saves more than treatment sometimes. Surgeries when needed I handle with care and precision, whether minor procedures or larger operations. What matters to me is not just fixing a problem but building trust, so women know they are heard and cared for. |
Achievements: | I am involved in studies on placenta prévia and spontaneous abortions, which gave me a deeper understanding of maternal health challenges. I also presented few papers and posters in both state and national level conferences. Sharing my work with peers not only improve my own knwledge but also help me contribute in small way to wider medical comunity. These experinces keep me motivated to keep learning and refining patient care everyday. |
I am a doctor who has been working with womens health for more than 5 yrs now and during this time I learnt that every case is little diffrent. My main focus is on antenatal care, guiding mothers safely through pregnancy, labor and delivery. I can perform cesarean sections with skill and care, always keeping both mother and baby in mind not just the procedure itself. Apart from maternity care, I also deal with a wide range of gynaecological issues, from irregular cycles to common infections and other problems that many women often hesitate to talk about. I try to keep my consultation room as open and non-judgemental as possible, cause comfort is half the treatment. In hospital settings I worked across OPD, inpatient, and also assisted in surgeries, which gave me a deeper view of how to manage emergencies as well as long term care. Sometimes its about small guidance like nutrition advice during pregnancy, sometimes its about handling critical complications where quick decision matters more than anything. I also spend time in spreading awareness about women health, conducting talks and counselling sessions especially in areas where information is limited. I believe gynecology is not just about treating problems but about educating women to understand their own bodies better. That part of work feels as important as performing c sections or prescribing meds. Every day is mix of routine checkups and unexpected cases, and honestly that keeps me learning and improving. My goal has always been consistent—deliver safe, reliable and compassionate care while helping women take informed decisions for themselves and their families.
