Dr. Jahnavi
I am a doctor who has been working with womens health for more than 5 yrs now and during this time I learnt that every case is little diffrent. My main focus is on antenatal care, guiding mothers safely through pregnancy, labor and delivery. I can perform cesarean sections with skill and care, always keeping both mother and baby in mind not just the procedure itself. Apart from maternity care, I also deal with a wide range of gynaecological issues, from irregular cycles to common infections and other problems that many women often hesitate to talk about. I try to keep my consultation room as open and non-judgemental as possible, cause comfort is half the treatment. In hospital settings I worked across OPD, inpatient, and also assisted in surgeries, which gave me a deeper view of how to manage emergencies as well as long term care. Sometimes its about small guidance like nutrition advice during pregnancy, sometimes its about handling critical complications where quick decision matters more than anything. I also spend time in spreading awareness about women health, conducting talks and counselling sessions especially in areas where information is limited. I believe gynecology is not just about treating problems but about educating women to understand their own bodies better. That part of work feels as important as performing c sections or prescribing meds. Every day is mix of routine checkups and unexpected cases, and honestly that keeps me learning and improving. My goal has always been consistent—deliver safe, reliable and compassionate care while helping women take informed decisions for themselves and their families.

You can better consult Gynic for proper examination Sometimes it might be due to friction and other causes are vaginal infection and urine infection which is more common among women Nothing to worry …it can be solved with good hygiene and hydration in most of the cases

Itching after sex can be uncomfortable and concerning, and there are several potential causes to consider. A common reason for vaginal and anal itching post-intercourse could be an irritant or allergic reaction to products you might be using, such as condoms, lubricants, or even laundry detergents. Sometimes, an infection might be to blame; yeast infections can lead to itching and may be triggered by sex due to changes in balance of vaginal flora. Similarly, bacterial infections such as bacterial vaginosis could also cause itchiness. It’s important to consider sexually transmitted infections (STIs) as well, since conditions like trichomoniasis, chlamydia, or herpes can lead to irritation and itching. Hormonal changes, perhaps due to contraception, stress, or a recent change in menstrual cycle, may also play a role in disrupting the natural balance in the vaginal area, leading to these symptoms. To address this, starting with avoiding any new products and sticking to hypoallergenic options for personal care items if possible can be helpful. Ensure good hygiene, using plain water and mild, unscented soap externally. Steer clear of douching as it can disturb the natural flora. If you suspect an STI, it’s important to consult a healthcare professional for appropriate testing and treatment. Partner should also be informed and potentially tested, to prevent reinfection. If symptoms recur or persist despite these measures, a visit to a healthcare provider is recommended to rule out underlying conditions and receive targeted treatment. Prioritize seeking attention promptly if you notice symptoms like a rash, unusual discharge, or pain, as these could point toward infections that require specific treatment.
