Doctors' responses

Uneven results and lumpiness after lip filler can sometimes occur, especially if it’s only been 10 days since the procedure. Some swelling and lumps can be normal shortly after treatment due to the filler settling and the body’s response. In many cases, these effects improve over a few weeks as the swelling decreases and the filler integrates into the tissue. However, there are a few things to consider going forward. If the unevenness doesn’t seem to be improving after a couple of weeks, or if it worsens, it would be a good idea to follow up with your provider. They can assess whether the appearance is likely to resolve naturally or if any intervention is needed, such as massage or additional filler adjustment. It’s also important to ensure the lumps are just the filler and not a sign of a more serious issue like an occlusion, especially if you have changes in color or start experiencing pain. Until you see improvement, try to avoid touching or excessively massaging the area without guidance from your provider, as this could misplace the filler. Keep an eye on any redness or warmth, though you did not mention these symptoms. If they occur, seek medical advice promptly. Ultimately, many fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase if you remain unhappy with the results, but this should be discussed with a qualified professional.

Hello

- Some swelling and unevenness in the first 1-2 weeks is common as the filler settles - Lumps can sometimes be normal initially but may need massage or repositioning - Results typically stabilize after 2-4 weeks

Contact your cosmetic provider directly—they can: - Examine the filler placement - Determine if it needs adjustment or massage - Rule out any complications

Thank you

Mild unevenness or small lumps after lip fillers can be normal in the first 2–3 weeks, as swelling settles and the filler softens, so the lips may still improve. If lumps remain the same after 2–3 weeks, they may need simple correction like massage, adjustment, or dissolving by the injector. Contact your cosmetic doctor for review if the unevenness persists, worsens, or if you’re unhappy with the result.

Hello

It often improves — 10 days is still early — but persistent lumps that haven’t changed should be checked.

What’s typical at 10 days:

Mild unevenness and small lumps can still be normal healing, especially after a first treatment

Swelling can hide the final shape for 2–4 weeks total

Hyaluronic acid fillers can feel firmer before they settle

Because yours: haven’t softened or changed look unnatural to you are centered (a common spot for product to bunch)

🛑they may need a simple adjustment rather than “waiting it out.”

What usually happens next:

Many providers recommend gentle massage (only if they advise it)

If product pooled, it can be dissolved or smoothed quickly

Early correction is easier than waiting months

When to contact your injector: Lumps still obvious after 2 weeks No improvement in texture You’re unhappy with symmetry

No pain is reassuring — this does not sound like a complication, just a placement/settling issue.

I trust this helps Thank you Take care

Hello dear See I think it may be due to incomplete application of hyaluronic acid during filling. Incomplete esthetic may be related to either some consequences or weaker result. I suggest you to please get in person consultation with cosmetic surgeon le concerned physician only for better clarity Regards

Since you had lip fillers only 10 days ago, mild unevenness and small lumps can still be normal during the early healing phase. After lip filler injections, especially with Hyaluronic acid filler products, swelling, firmness, and small nodules can last 2–3 weeks while the filler settles and integrates with the tissue. Mild swelling or internal bruising can temporarily make the lips look uneven or feel lumpy.

However, because you mentioned the lumps are still unchanged after 10 days, they could also be due to filler pooling, minor product clumping, or uneven placement, which sometimes does not fully smooth out on its own. Gentle massage (only if your injector recommended it) may help in some cases, but you should not press hard or try to fix it yourself.

Hello, thank you for sharing your concern. Such symptoms are quite common and in many cases improve over the next 2–4 weeks as swelling settles and the filler integrates with the tissue.

It can be normal if: There is no pain, redness, warmth, or increasing swelling. Lumps are soft and non-tender. The size is not progressively increasing.

What you can do now- Gentle lip massage (only if your injector advised it). Warm compress once or twice daily for a few minutes (after the first week). Avoid excessive pressure, lip biting, or heavy manipulation.

Consult your treating clinic if: Lumps remain unchanged after 3–4 weeks. Lips still look clearly uneven after swelling completely settles. Lumps become hard, painful, red, or warm You want early correction.

At 10 days, unevenness can still improve naturally over the next couple of weeks. If it persists beyond 3–4 weeks, a small correction by your injector is usually simple and effective.

Feel free to reach out again.
