Hello Okeke By going through your history and evaluation of your health it seems as hormonal alterations due to release of oxytocin could be the reason for pain. Please donot worry as it is part of normal process. For evaluation and understanding your can consults gynecologist…
Thank you
Hi Okeke, Congratulations on your pregnancy! It’s completely understandable to worry when pregnancy symptoms change suddenly, but what you’re experiencing is usually normal. Why the nipple pain may have stopped-
Hormone fluctuations: In early pregnancy (around 4–8 weeks), levels of estrogen and progesterone rise quickly — causing breast and nipple tenderness. These hormone levels can stabilize or fluctuate, leading to temporary reduction in pain or sensitivity.
Body adaptation: As your body adjusts to hormonal changes, some early symptoms (like breast pain, mild cramps, fatigue, nausea) may come and go.
Not a sign of miscarriage on its own: Loss or reduction of breast tenderness alone is not a reliable indicator of pregnancy problems, especially if there’s no bleeding, no severe cramps, or no loss of pregnancy symptoms altogether.
When to seek medical advice- Please visit your doctor if you notice any of these: Vaginal bleeding or spotting. Severe lower abdominal or back pain. Sudden loss of all pregnancy symptoms. Dizziness or fainting.
Feel free to reach out again.

Your nipple pain stopping suddenly at 5 weeks doesn’t necessarily mean anything bad it often happens as hormones fluctuate and your body adjusts. As long as there’s no bleeding or severe cramps, it’s likely normal and not a sign of miscarriage or hormonal drop.
Hello dear See it seems from clinical history as hormonal alterations due to release of oxytocin could be the reason for pain. Please donot worry as it is part of normal process. It may have stopped due to threshold of the above mentioned hormone being reached Please wait for atleast 2-3 months. If it remains consistent, then consult gynaecologist in person for better clarity Regards
Hello, It’s completely normal. Just a sign of hormonal fluctuations happening in your body. This on and off pain often happens during pregnancy, dont worry.
Breast and nipple tenderness, along with mild cramping, are not uncommon during early pregnancy due to hormonal changes. The fact that your nipple pain has decreased or stopped is generally not a cause for worry. Symptoms like these can fluctuate frequently during pregnancy due to shifts in hormone levels, such as estrogen and progesterone. These hormones are responsible for preparing your body for the pregnancy, leading to changes in breast tissue which results in tenderness, but it’s also normal for this symptom to resolve or change intensity throughout the day or over time. However, it’s always important to monitor any new or changing symptoms, especially if they are accompanied by other concerning signs like heavy bleeding, severe pain, or fever, as these could indicate complications that need prompt medical attention. As long as you’re not experiencing other significant symptoms, such as heavy bleeding or severe abdominal pain, a change in nipple tenderness alone doesn’t typically indicate a problem. It’s best to continue with your routine prenatal care with your healthcare provider, and addressing any concerns directly with them will help ensure a healthy pregnancy journey. If there are any new developments that worry you, reaching out to your healthcare provider for reassurance and guidance is always a good step. Remember to stay hydrated, get enough rest, and take care of yourself as your body goes through these changes.

It’s common for pregnancy symptoms like nipple pain or cramping to fluctuate, especially in the early weeks when hormone levels rise and fall. The temporary disappearance of nipple pain doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong—many women experience changes in breast tenderness from day to day. Still, if you notice additional symptoms like bleeding, strong cramps, or loss of other pregnancy signs, it’s best to consult an obstetrician or gynecologist to ensure everything is progressing normally.
