beetroot juice in empty stomach - #28394
I am really curious about the effects of drinking beetroot juice in empty stomach. A few weeks ago, I heard from a friend that beetroot juice is super good for you, like great for detoxing and boosting stamina or whatever. Anyway, I decided to try it first thing in the morning, like right after I woke up and before breakfast. At first, it seemed fine, but then I started experiencing some stomach discomfort — kind of tightness and just feeling a bit off. I thought maybe it was just my body getting used to it, but it kept happening. Did I do something wrong? Is drinking beetroot juice in empty stomach supposed to cause discomfort? I also read somewhere that beetroot juice can affect blood pressure, and I kind of freaked out a bit, since I have a family history of blood pressure issues. Could beetroot juice in empty stomach really be a problem for my gut? Should I be drinking it with food instead, or do some people drink beetroot juice in empty stomach without any issues? I'm just trying to figure out if it's really worth including into my morning routine. Any insights or experiences would be helpful!
