price of a heart - #21415

Karthik

I am really in a tough spot right now and not sure what to do. About a month ago, my dad started acting really weird – like, he was forgetting things and getting super tired all the time. Took him to the doc, and they did a bunch of tests. Turns out he has some serious heart issues 😟. So now I'm doing all this research on heart stuff, but the main thing that keeps sticking out is the price of a heart, or like, transplant costs, ya know? Did some digging and found some crazy numbers online, but I can't tell what's accurate. People are talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars, and I'm just not sure how any of this works. I mean, is the price of a heart the same everywhere? Are there hidden fees or things to look out for? Of course, we want what’s best for him, but I can't stop worrying about the price of a heart and how we’re gonna manage all the costs. Like, do hospitals give you a plan or guide? Anyone else been through this? Would love any insights or advice on dealing with the price of a heart and how to prepare for everything. Thanks!
