what happens if we apply lemon on hair - #23834
I am really curious about what happens if we apply lemon on hair. A few weeks ago, I started noticing my hair looking a bit dull and lifeless. I remembered hearing somewhere that lemon juice could help with shine and maybe even lightening a bit, so I tried putting some fresh lemon juice on my scalp and ends. Honestly, my hair smelled amazing, but I'm not sure if that’s enough to cover for any potential downsides. I did it like two times a week for about a week or so. Now, I’ve got this slight itchiness, and I'm wondering if it's from the lemon or maybe the sun since I’ve been going outside a lot, which I def didn't consider before. Like, is that normal? I read online that lemon can be good for oils but that it can also dry hair out. What happens if we apply lemon on hair too much? Should I rinse it out immediately after or leave it a little? I really want my hair to look fresh and healthy, but I also don't wanna make it worse! My friends say it worked for them but maybe they didn’t apply it like I do? Ugh, just confused if I should stop or keep going. Thanks in advance for any help!
