olive oil can be used for hair - #24918
I am really confused about this whole olive oil can be used for hair thing. A few weeks ago, I was at a friend's house, and she started raving about how olive oil can be used for hair, saying it worked wonders for her dry ends. I thought it was kind of weird, but my hair's been a mess lately. I’ve got these split ends and just dry hair that feels rough. Anyway, I thought I'd give it a shot. I put some olive oil on my hair before washing it, and honestly, after rinsing, it felt a little better but not like magical or anything. Is that even how olive oil can be used for hair? Like, am I supposed to leave it in longer or do something different? I was thinking maybe I should try it regularly, but then I worry if it will make my hair greasy? My scalp can get oily too, which is why I was hesitant in the first place. Would you guys recommend any particular kind of olive oil? Also, how often should I be using it for the best results? I guess I’m just looking for advice from anyone who’s tried this, if olive oil can be used for hair genuinely helps with shine or hydration or if it's just hype!
