virtual skin care consultation - #26940

Aayan

I am kind of freaking out about my skin lately. For the past couple of weeks, I’ve had this weird, red irritation pop up around my cheeks and forehead that won't go away no matter what I try. I thought it was just a bad reaction to a new moisturizer, but even after stopping that, my skin still looks so irritated. I’m starting to feel like I need some real help, but with my schedule, actually going to a dermatologists office seems impossible right now. I heard about this thing called a virtual skin care consultation but didn't know if it can really help with skin issues like mine. Can a virtual skin care consultation actually provide something useful, or are they just going to throw some generic advice my way? Has anyone else tried a virtual skin care consultation with success? I worry I might end up with the same recommendations from online sources I could have found myself, like "drink more water!" or "try aloe vera!" I just really want something personalized. How does a virtual skin care consultation work anyway? Do they actually see your skin up close? Just feeling a bit lost and not sure if I should give this a shot or keep waiting until I can see someone in person, but the wait is stressing me out too!
