benefits of ice cubes for face - #27264

Parth

I am really curious about the benefits of ice cubes for face because I've heard a lot of stuff lately. Just last week, I was at my friend's place and she was raving about how using ice cubes on her face has helped her skin look way better. Like, she says it helps with puffiness, acne, and even makes her makeup look smoother. I’m honestly a bit skeptical but I can’t help but wonder if there’s any scientific basis to the benefits of ice cubes for face because I’ve been struggling with some acne and redness, and my skin feels like it’s looking tired all the time! I tried a bunch of creams but nothing seems to stick. Anyway, I tried rubbing a few ice cubes on my face like she suggested and honestly, it felt kinda nice but did it really do anything?! Like, should I be doing this every day? Are there any risks? Some people say the benefits of ice cubes for face are great for tightening pores too, but then how many times a week is too much? Does anyone know how long you have to keep them on your skin to notice any difference? Ugh, I just wish I could figure out a simple routine. Please share your thoughts or any evidence you’ve seen about the benefits of ice cubes for face!
