disadvantages of ice on face - #27319
I am really worried about my skin lately. I started using ice on my face thinking it would help with puffiness and acne scars, but I’ve been reading about the disadvantages of ice on face, and now I'm not sure what to think. Like, my friend said she does it all the time and swears by it, but I wake up in the morning and feel like my skin is super dry instead of refreshed. I noticed some redness too? I’m not sure if that’s normal or a sign that the ice isn’t working for me. I actually read that there are disadvantages of ice on face, like it can worsen some conditions if you have sensitive skin or can even lead to skin damage. Ugh, how do I even figure out if I'm causing harm with this? Also, how long should I even be applying ice? I think I might be doing it too long since I really want that instant fix, but should I be more careful? Does anybody here have experience with the disadvantages of ice on face or any tips on what I should actually be doing for better results? I'm feeling kinda lost over here and just want good skin, you know?
