benefits of raisins soaked in water for skin - #27458
I am trying to figure out the benefits of raisins soaked in water for skin since my friend swears by it. A few weeks ago, I started noticing weird dry patches on my cheeks and just an overall dullness that I can’t seem to shake off. I thought maybe it was the change of season or something, ya know? Anyway, my friend remembered reading about the benefits of raisins soaked in water for skin, and she suggested I give it a try, but I was like, really? Just raisins? She told me they are rich in nutrients and antioxidants, which sounded super good, but I didn’t know how soaking them in water would make it any better! I’ve looked up some stuff online, and I found a bunch of promises about how they can help with skin glow and maybe even reduce acne, which, honestly, I need since I occasionally battle that too. I tried it a couple times, soaked some raisins overnight and then drank the water in the morning, and while I think my skin feels a bit more hydrated, I’m not sure if it’s actually from the benefits of raisins soaked in water for skin or just my imagination. Should I stick with it? How long before I see real changes? And are there other ways to use the benefits of raisins soaked in water for skin? I guess I’m kind of skeptical but also hopeful, if that makes sense? Would love to hear any experiences!
