benefits of applying ice on face - #27603
I am looking for some advice on the benefits of applying ice on face because I've been dealing with really puffy skin since summer started. Like, my cheeks look like I've been stung by a bee or something. Last week, I tried putting ice on my face after a long day out in the heat, and it felt kinda nice, but I wasn't sure if there were actual benefits of applying ice on face or if I was just imagining things. I haven’t noticed any major changes though, which is kinda discouraging. A friend mentioned that the benefits of applying ice on face include reducing redness and helping with breakouts, but I feel like I need some more guidance. I also heard about it helping with dark circles, which I definitely have! Should I just be like rubbing ice cubes directly on my skin, or is there a better way to do it? Also, can overdoing it have any drawbacks? I mean, can you apply ice on your face too much or too often? I really want to find a solution for this puffiness and figured there’s gotta be more to the benefits of applying ice on face than I realize. Any tips or personal tricks would be super helpful!
