benefits of icing your face - #28186
I am kinda worried because I’ve been trying this thing where I ice my face for like a week now, and I keep reading about the benefits of icing your face, but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right. My skin has been looking kinda dull and especially puffy under my eyes, ugh! My best friend swears by it, saying the benefits of icing your face are amazing for reducing inflammation and helping with breakouts. I tried doing it every morning for 10 minutes, but honestly, I’m not sure if it’s actually helping. I thought I’d feel a difference for sure. My skin feels refreshed for like a minute after, but then it looks the same. Do the benefits of icing your face take time to show or something? Like, should I be doing it longer or more often? Or maybe I’m totally missing some steps? I’ve been using a frozen washcloth, but I’ve seen people use ice cubes in bags and they make it sound like that’s better? What do you think? Do the benefits of icing your face really depend on how you do it, or is it more about how my skin reacts? Any tips would be super helpful!
