lip discoloration treatment at home - #28802

Amara

I am really concerned about my lips lately, they’ve started to become discolored and it’s making me feel super self-conscious. A few weeks ago, I noticed that the color just kinda changed, like they’re darker on the edges but lighter in the middle? It looks kinda funny, honestly. I’ve been looking into lip discoloration treatment at home, but I don’t know where to start. I tried hydration and lip balm, but it doesn’t really help much. Maybe it’s something I’m eating? I read somewhere that some foods can cause this. I’m not allergic to anything (that I know of), but I drink coffee a lot and love dining out, maybe that’s it? The internet is full of suggestions like using coconut oil or even turmeric, but I wonder if they really work. Has anyone tried any lip discoloration treatment at home that actually worked for you? How long did it take to see results? I just want to feel confident again without having to cake on lipstick every day. Should I also consider seeing a doctor, or is there really something I can do at home? Thanks!!
