best homemade body scrub - #28941
I am looking for some advice about what could be the best homemade body scrub since my skin has been feeling super dry and itchy lately. Last weekend, after spending hours in the sun at the beach, I noticed my skin was peeling and looking really dull, like it just lost all its sparkle. I normally use store-bought scrubs but OH MAN they cost a fortune, and honestly, they don’t really work as well as I’d hoped. A friend of mine said she makes her own at home and swears it’s the best homemade body scrub ever. I tried mixing sugar with some olive oil the other day, but it kinda turned out more like a paste than a scrub and didn’t really feel that great. I read online that you can use coffee grounds or even oats for scrubs too, but I have no idea if those would really be the best homemade body scrub options. Should I stick with sugar or is there something else that works better? Super confused about the right ratios and ingredients, and I don’t want to give up since I REALLY need something that will help exfoliate the dry patches and leave my skin soft. What are your recommendations?
