a chronic infection like epididymitis, prostatitis, or a sexually transmitted infection (STI), which can be more severe in people with diabetes. You need to consult a urologist immediately for tests like urine culture, swab test, and scrotal ultrasound. Avoid self-medication and maintain hygiene — proper antibiotics and diabetic control will be key to resolving this.

Your symptoms—pain in both testicles and a mild white discharge from the penis—along with your existing condition of diabetes, potentially suggest an underlying infection or other medical issue that needs prompt medical evaluation. For diabetic patients, it’s especially important to be vigilant about infections, as your body’s ability to heal and fight off infections can be compromised. The testicle pain could be related to conditions like epididymitis, orchitis, or even a sexually transmitted infection, while the discharge might point to causes such as urethritis or another urinary tract-related infection. Each of these conditions requires a different approach, but the common thread is the need for professional medical assessment and possibly laboratory tests like urinalysis or cultures to identify the cause precisely. It’s crucial to see a healthcare provider as soon as possible who can accurately diagnose the issue and start appropriate treatment, which may include antibiotics if an infection is confirmed. While waiting to see a healthcare provider, avoid any heavy lifting or vigorous physical activity that could exacerbate the pain. Keeping the area clean and monitoring any changes in symptoms are wise precautions. Immediate care is necessary since unchecked infections or complications can lead to more serious health issues, especially in a diabetic patient, such as worsening infections or potentially affecting other parts of the urinary or reproductive system. Do not delay in reaching out to your doctor or visiting a healthcare facility to ensure correct management and treatment.
