what are the early warning signs of psoriatic arthritis - #25604
I am really concerned about my health lately. A few months ago, I started noticing some weird patches on my elbows and knees, like red, scaly areas that itch a bit. At first, I thought it was just dry skin or eczema, but then my fingers started feeling stiff in the mornings, and even some of my joints ache a little. My sister has psoriasis, and I know there’s a link between that and psoriatic arthritis, but what are the early warning signs of psoriatic arthritis? Like, is stiffness a sign? Some days I feel like I could run a marathon, while other days I can't even get out of bed without wincing. I read a bit online about what are the early warning signs of psoriatic arthritis, like swelling or fatigue, but I'm worried I'm overreacting. Also, should I be looking out for things like nail changes? I swear my nails are not looking great. Anyway, I know I should probably see a doctor, but I’m curious – what are the early warning signs of psoriatic arthritis that I should keep an eye on in the meantime? What if I'm just being paranoid? Would love to hear what everyone thinks!
