does neuropathy go away - #26378

Reet

I am really trying to wrap my head around this whole neuropathy thing. For the last six months, I’ve been dealing with these crazy tingling and numbing feelings in my feet, and some days it feels like there’s just no way to get rid of it. I talked to my doc a little while ago and they said it might be neuropathy, which honestly freaked me out. They said it’s often caused by diabetes or nerve damage but I don’t have diabetes as far as I know! Anyway, I have started taking some supplements and doing these nerve exercises I found online. Sometimes I wonder, does neuropathy go away? I read mixed stuff online, like some people say it can go away after addressing the underlying issues, while others mention it’s chronic. Like, do you guys think the nerve exercises would even help? Or should I be more aggressive with alternative treatments? It’s just really frustrating not knowing if does neuropathy go away or if I’ll be stuck with this forever. Do most people find it gets better with time, or is this just my new normal? I’m hopeful but also kinda scared about what this means for my future. Any insight would help!
