dolo 650 uses age limit - #28170
I am really concerned about my son who's been running a temp for the last couple of days. He's 7 years old, and his fever seems pretty high, like around 102°F. The pediatrician suggested using Dolo 650, which I believe is paracetamol, but I started wondering about the dolo 650 uses age limit. I mean, is it safe for him? I see that Dolo is often recommended for adults, but I'm not clear on when it’s appropriate for kids. I remember my neighbor saying she gave it to her child when he was younger, but I think her son was a little older than mine. I've done some research online, and some places mention that Dolo 650 is for teenagers and adults. Should I truly be worried? Is there a specific dosage I should follow for his age? Since his fever doesn’t seem to break, I’m a bit frazzled and just don’t want to mess this up. It's not like I can just pop into a pharmacy and ask them when everythings so hectic. Aren’t there also different formulations for kids? Just trying to figure this out because the last thing I want is to give him something that's not for his age! Would appreciate any advice from you all.
