When it comes to reducing tanning, consistent sun protection is crucial. Start by applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 every day, even when indoors since UV rays can penetrate windows. Reapply every two hours if you’re spending extended periods outside. Over time, regular sunscreen use will help to even out skin tone. You can also use products containing ingredients like vitamin C, kojic acid, or niacinamide to lighten existing tan and hyperpigmentation. These ingredients can offer mild lightening effects by inhibiting melanin production. For the small bumps on your oily skin face, they might be a form of acne known as closed comedones. Consider using a cleanser with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide to help reduce oil and unclog pores. Introducing a retinoid, such as adapalene, can help in promoting cell turnover and reducing the formation of bumps. Start with a small amount 2-3 times a week to see how your skin tolerates it. For your dry and frizzy hair, use a sulfate-free shampoo to avoid stripping natural oils, and follow with a hydrating conditioner applied mainly on your hair lengths. Once a week, incorporate a deep conditioning treatment or hair mask to restore moisture. To manage frizz, apply a small amount of leave-in conditioner or anti-frizz serum on damp hair. For the wavy ends, avoid heat styling tools as much as possible, and when needed, use a heat protectant to minimize damage. If these home measures don’t improve your situation or if the skin changes concern you further, a consultation with a dermatologist might be beneficial for tailored advice and treatments.
