Hello dear See as per clinical history i can assume it is balanites Usually the treatment involves topical medications I suggest you to please go for below mentioned medication for relief Clozed antifungal powder Miconazole topical therapy twice a day for 5 days Lulliconazole topical therapy twice a day for 5 days Terbinafine 250 mg twice a day for 5 days In addition please Maintain hygiene and wash with dettol soaked water Dry properly with clean clothes Avoid moisture In case of no improvement in 1 week Consult dermatologist or gynecologist in person for better clarification Hopefully you recover soon Regards
If KZ Cream, which is often used for fungal infections, hasn’t helped after two weeks, it’s important to consider other potential causes for these white papules. Balanitis typically presents with redness, itching, or irritation; if your primary symptom is white papules, we might need to explore other possibilities. Common suspects include pearly penile papules, which are harmless and require no treatment, or possibly small sebaceous glands that are also benign. However, white papules persisting for over a month could also suggest a case of a non-fungal balanitis, including irritant or allergic reactions from soaps, lotions, or other products. In this case, it’s crucial to avoid potential irritants, use plain water for cleaning, and consider a hypoallergenic moisturiser to soothe the area. We mustn’t dismiss the potential of sexually transmitted infections like molluscum contagiosum or even HPV manifestations, which would necessitate further medical evaluation, possibly including swabs or blood tests. Since there’s a lack of improvement and an online consultation might have limitations in thoroughly evaluating your symptoms, booking an appointment for a direct physical examination is the next best step. Call for an in-person visit with a dermatologist or urologist who can visually inspect, discuss your full history and perhaps collect material for lab tests to ensure a more precise diagnosis and tailored treatment plan. Meanwhile, avoid self-prescribing medications without professional guidance, as an incorrect treatment could worsen or mask an underlying condition.
