I am really confused about this whole blood pressure thing! Seems like I keep hearing different stuff everywhere. Like, my aunt told me that her doctor said what is normal blood pressure range is different for older folks compared to younger people. But, when I checked online, it said that can vary person to person. I just got my blood pressure checked last week because I’ve been feeling kind of dizzy, and I thought maybe that was a sign something was wrong. My reading was 130/85, which, according to my doc, is supposed to be fine, but I still wonder what is normal blood pressure range. Should I be worried about the top number being above 120? My friend said that 140/90 is considered high or at least the borderline, and now I’m stuck thinking about that. I mean, I don’t want to overlook it if it’s a warning sign. Do lifestyle factors, like stress or my caffeine intake, really affect what is normal blood pressure range? Also, could my numbers be different if I’m nervous during the check? This whole thing is stressing me out, and I just want to know what to look out for!
