Hello dear See you must take combination of both hair gain and Anti dandruff medication Iam suggesting some medication for improvement. Please follow them rosemary oil for hair gain OTC solution to be given topically Biotin- medications for growth Ketoconazole 2% (Nizoral) – antifungal shampoo twice a day

Selenium Sulfide (Selsun Blue) – antifungal shampoo for 1 month ( twice use)

Clotrimazole or Miconazole – antifungal creams for topical use In addition following preventive measures are must Avoid excess moisture and keep the infected area completely dry If possible dry with clean towel Use bhringraj or onion oil gently twice a day for both massage and nourishment In case of no improvement in 1 month, consult dermatologist for better clarification . Hopefully you recover soon Regards

When you’re grappling with dandruff and hairfall, tackling the root causes can make a difference in your hair health. Let’s start with addressing the dandruff. An anti-dandruff shampoo that contains active ingredients like ketoconazole, selenium sulfide, or zinc pyrithione can be effective. Use such shampoos two to three times a week, but don’t overdo it as it might dry out your scalp further. Leave it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing. Now, onto hair fall. Opt for a gentle, sulfate-free shampoo on days you’re not using the medicated one, which helps avoid unnecessary scalp irritation. Consider co-washing—using a conditioner instead of shampoo—to prevent over-washing. Conditioners with biotin or panthenol might help strenghten your hair strands. For hair regrowth, topically applied minoxidil might be worth considering; while its effects take several months, it is one of the few clinically-backed options. However, consult with a dermatologist before starting such treatments to check it’s appriopriate for you. As for serums, look into options that include ingredients like niacinamide or peptides which strengthen hair and boost scalp health without being overly heavy. This should be used on clean, damp hair and left to soak in with each use. A daily routine might look like: Monday: Anti-dandruff shampoo use. Tuesday: Moisturizing conditioner and a serum. Wednesday: Rest day, or just use serum sparingly. Thursday: Anti-dandruff shampoo. Friday: Co-wash with conditioner. Saturday and Sunday: Choose one day for a mild shampoo and follow with serum application. Meanwhile, watch for any side effects and adjust products if any irritation occurs. Eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins A, D, zinc, and omega-3 fatty acids also contributes to overall hair and scalp health. If hairfall is significant or dandruff persists, seeing a dermatologist is wise—just to rule out conditions like psoriasis or alopecia areata, which need specific treatment. Abnormal hair loss could be indicative of an underlying condition needing medical attention, so if the issue seems persistent or severe, getting checked out by a healthcare professional is important.
