in how many days shilajit works - #24904

Avni

I am feeling kinda anxious about my experience with shilajit. I read that it can have some awesome benefits but I’m really curious about in how many days shilajit works. I’ve been taking it for about a week now, and honestly, I thought I'd start to feel something by now. I was hopeful because I've seen tons of folks say they felt a boost in energy and mood like within just a few days. But, nada for me so far. I’ve had some lingering fatigue from my busy job and a bit of stress, and the whole thing makes me think maybe my body just takes longer to respond? Or am I not taking it right? Should I also be looking for specific effects? I’m drinking plenty of water and trying to eat well, but still nothing. Weird that some people say they felt results on day two and here I am feeling like, is it even working? I'm worried if it’s normal to not notice anything yet or is there like a general timeframe? Like in how many days shilajit usually works for most people? Any advice or shared experiences would really help right now!

Doctors' responses

Shilajit is indeed known for its potential benefits, such as boosting energy, reducing fatigue, and improving mood, among others. However, when it comes to how soon you should expect to notice these effects, the timeline can vary significantly from person to person. Some might start to notice benefits within a few days, but for others, it can take several weeks. The body’s response to supplements can depend on a variety of factors, like metabolism, overall health status, and lifestyle. You’ve mentioned that you’re staying hydrated and eating well, which is great, as these factors can support the body’s ability to absorb and process supplements effectively. It’s also important to ensure that you’re taking the right dose—following the recommended dosage on the product or as advised by a healthcare professional is crucial. If you haven’t noticed an effect yet, it doesn’t necessarily mean that the supplement isn’t working; it might just require more time for your body to respond. If after a few more weeks you still don’t notice any changes, it might be worth investigating if there are other underlying factors, such as nutritional deficiencies or other health issues, contributing to your fatigue and stress. Remember, Shilajit, like any supplement, should not be solely relied upon to address chronic conditions or replace specific treatments or lifestyle changes. If your symptoms persist or worsen, consulting with a healthcare provider to explore other possible causes or solutions could be beneficial. Additionally, make sure the product you’re using is a reputable brand to ensure its efficacy and safety.
