how to use neem water for hair growth - #24731

Advait

I am honestly at my wit's end here, trying to figure out how to use neem water for hair growth. A few months ago, I noticed my hair was thinning out a lot more than usual, like clumps would come out when I washed it. I started looking up remedies and stumbled upon neem. I’ve read that neem water can help with hair growth, but I have no idea how to use neem water for hair growth properly. Like, do I need to make it myself? And how often should I apply it? Should I rinse it out after some time or leave it in? Last week, I boiled neem leaves and made the water, thinking that was right, but I'm kind of confused. Am I supposed to strain the leaves out after boiling? Some videos say to just pour it on my scalp while others suggest using it as a rinse. I’ve also read it can help with dandruff and scalp issues, which I do struggle with sometimes. How to use neem water for hair growth while also tackling that? I just want some clarity here – this feels like a guessing game and I’m tired of throwing things at the wall to see what sticks! Any tips or personal experiences would be super helpful!

Neem water can indeed be a beneficial addition to your hair care routine, especially considering its traditional use in controlling dandruff and promoting healthier scalp conditions. To use neem water effectively for hair growth and scalp health, you can start by preparing the neem water correctly. Set aside a quantity of fresh neem leaves, approximately 15 to 20 leaves, and bring them to boil in about two cups of water. Allow it to simmer for around 10-15 minutes, letting it cool off afterwards. Straining the leaves after boiling is recommended, as it helps you focus on using only the infused water which is rich in neem’s active compounds. Now, moving on to application, you can use the neem water in a couple of ways. As a hair rinse, simply pour it over freshly shampooed hair, ensuring that your scalp and hair roots are covered. Leave it in for about 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing off with regular water. Alternatively, for absorbed benefits, consider using a spray bottle to spritz it onto your scalp; you can leave this on for a longer duration or overnight if preferred. This method is more beneficial if you’re looking to target scalp conditions like dandruff and itching. Applying neem water 2-3 times a week could provide noticeable changes, helping maintain a healthier scalp, thus potentially supporting hair growth indirectly by reducing factors like dandruff that can otherwise hinder it. However, be observant of any irritation or allergies you might experience, as botanical products can sometimes cause reactions in sensitive individuals. If you notice any adverse effects or do not see improvement, it might be beneficial to consult with a dermatologist to explore other potential underlying causes of your hair thinning.
