how to repair damaged hair at home - #24978

Karthik

I am really struggling with my hair lately. It feels like no matter what I do, I can't shake this dryness and damage. Like, I used to have smooth and shiny hair, but now it’s super frizzy and brittle! Last month, I made the mistake of bleaching my hair, and I totally regret it. I’ve done deep conditioning treatments at the salon and spent a fortune, but honestly, nothing seems to work long-term. I've read a few articles about how to repair damaged hair at home, but I'm not sure where to start. I tried coconut oil and olive oil masks but I don’t see much change. How to repair damaged hair at home in a way that ACTUALLY makes a difference? Are there specific home remedies that people swear by? And maybe like, how often should I do these treatments? Some friends say too much can be bad, right? I can’t keep spending money on salon products if I can get results at home. Even if I follow the instructions, I feel clueless sometimes. Also, is there anything I should avoid while I repair damaged hair at home? I feel like there’s a lot of conflicting advice out there! Any tips would be super helpful, thanks!
