murivenna oil how to apply - #25171
I am seriously confused about murivenna oil and how to apply it properly. A few weeks back, I twisted my ankle playing soccer, and after doing a bit of online research, I came across murivenna oil. I read that it’s great for swelling and bruising, but honestly, I’m not sure how to use it right. I tried it for the first time the other day, just rubbing it on the swollen part, but I think I might’ve done it wrong. Do I need to warm it up before applying? How much should I actually use? Like is a few drops enough, or should I be saturating the area? I also heard I can use it for muscle pain, so my friend suggested applying it to my sore shoulder too, but then I started worrying about mixing it or if there are any specific techniques for murivenna oil how to apply it for both pain and swelling. Also, should I massage it or just let it sit? I’m kinda overwhelmed! Any tips would really help since I really want to heal fast and get back to running. Thanks!

Applying murivenna oil can indeed be beneficial for managing swelling, bruises, and muscle pain due to its traditional usage in Ayurveda. To use murivenna oil effectively, start by warming it slightly; warming can enhance its absorption and soothing properties. You can do this by placing the bottle in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes. Be careful not to overheat it, as excessive heat might degrade some of its properties. When applying, pour a small amount—around a teaspoon—into your palm and rub it gently between your hands.
For your ankle, gently massage the oil into the swollen area with circular motions. It’s important to apply firm pressure but avoid causing any pain. Massage for a few minutes to help the oil penetrate deeper. If there’s still visible oil after massaging, you can let it sit for a while or cover it with a light cloth to prevent it from staining your clothing. Doing this 2-3 times a day can help in reducing swelling and enhancing mobility. For muscle pain, like in your shoulder, follow a similar approach—warming, mild massaging, and allowing the oil to absorb thoroughly.
Regarding the amount, you don’t need to saturate the area; a teaspoonful should suffice unless the area is quite large. Always proceed gently and increase pressure as tolerated. If you ever notice any irritation or worsening of symptoms, stop using the oil and consult a healthcare provider. Watch for unusual symptoms that might indicate an allergic reaction—though these are rare. Keep in mind, while murivenna oil can be helpful, give your body ample rest and don’t rush back into running until you’re symptom-free to avoid re-injury. If you have persistent swelling or pain, it’s a good idea to have it evaluated by a healthcare professional to rule out any severe injury that might require other treatments.
