I am really curious about who is founder of yoga! I started doing yoga a few months ago because, honestly, my back was killing me from working at a desk all day. At first, it was tough, bending and stretching into these weird poses, but I kind of fell in love with it. The other day in class, my instructor mentioned something about who is founder of yoga, and I was totally lost. Like, I thought it was more of a collective thing that just evolved over time, you know? But then, she said there were actually historical figures involved?! I can't quite wrap my head around it. I mean, who is founder of yoga? And was it one person or many throughout history? Some of the poses feel sooo ancient, and I wonder if the person (or people) behind it imagined how it would catch on today. It's kind of wild to think about. Anyway, does anyone here know the true origins? Was there a single founder, or is it more of a myth? Need some clarity on this!
