is shilajit safe - #25676

Nisha

I am kinda worried about something I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about lately. My friend recommended trying shilajit because of its supposed health benefits, but honestly, I have no idea if is shilajit safe to take or not. Like, she’s been taking it and said it helps with her energy levels and focus, but I've read some mixed stuff online. Two weeks ago, I tried it, and at first, I felt energized, but then I started having some weird stomach issues. I didn’t know if it was related, but then I remembered that someone on a forum mentioned that is shilajit safe for everyone. I mean, at what point do the benefits outweigh the possible risks? I always get cautious with supplements because I don’t wanna mess up my health. Also, I thought I read somewhere that shilajit can interact with medications; is that true? I barely take anything, just a little allergy pill sometimes, but still... What should I be careful about? Is shilajit safe even for those with some underlying issues? Like, do I need to check with a doctor or something? Just want some clarity before I decide whether to continue or ditch it.
