what causes muscle stiffness - #26825
I am experiencing some pretty crazy muscle stiffness lately, and I’m really not sure what’s going on. It started about a month ago, after I did this intense workout routine, you know, trying to get back in shape! At first, I thought it was just soreness, but now it feels like there’s this tightness that just won’t go away. Like, even after stretching and foam rolling, the muscle stiffness seems stubborn. I try to stay active, but I've noticed this stiffness creeping in more and more. My arms feel heavy, and my legs feel like they’re made of lead! I also sometimes get this weird tingling sensation, which freaks me out a bit. I’ve read that muscle stiffness can come from dehydration or not enough electrolytes and I worried that I might not be fueling my body right. But could there be other reasons? What causes muscle stiffness, really? Is it just from overdoing it at the gym or should I be looking at my diet more closely? I don’t want to make it worse, but I feel like I'm in a bit of a bind here, ugh! Anyone ever dealt with this? What causes muscle stiffness for you if you have had it? Any advice would be awesome!
