aceclofenac dose - #27362
I am really worried about the aceclofenac dose I’ve been taking. Got this prescription a few weeks ago for some severe back pain after lifting something way too heavy at work. Some days the pain’s been unbearable, and my doctor said aceclofenac would help. I started at 100mg twice a day as instructed, but I still feel like something is off. After about a week, though, I felt like I needed to take more because the pain was still pretty bad! So, I tried 150mg at one point, thinking maybe a higher aceclofenac dose would do the trick. But now I'm just not sure if that was smart. I’ve read online that taking too much aceclofenac can have serious side effects, and I'm worried I might be pushing my luck here. Last time I saw my doctor, she just mentioned something about how aceclofenac dose should be adjusted based on my symptoms, but I feel like there is no clear rule. Has anyone else experienced this and what aceclofenac dose have you found effective? Should I stick to the prescribed amount or try to talk to my doctor about adjusting it again? Ugh, this pain is just driving me crazy!
