charcoal toothpaste side effects - #28851
I am a bit worried about this charcoal toothpaste stuff. My friend was raving about it, saying it really whitens teeth, so I thought I’d give it a shot. But now, I’ve been using it for a couple weeks and I've noticed my gums are kinda sore. I mean, I thought it was just me brushing too hard at first but now I’m wondering if there's more to it. I read some stuff online, and people are talking about possible charcoal toothpaste side effects. Like, is it just me or do some people actually get sensitive gums or teeth from this? Also, I saw one post mentioning it can be abrasive—aren't there other things that are less harsh? But like, I want to know, what are the main charcoal toothpaste side effects? Am I overreacting? Should I stop using it? My teeth do look a bit whiter, but if there are serious issues, I don't wanna risk anything. Also, would just switching back to regular toothpaste fix my gum soreness? I just feel kinda confused about the charcoal toothpaste side effects and if it’s worth it or not. Any advice would be really helpful!
