What does it mean if I feel poison-like sensations and brain damage after drinking juice on an empty stomach?

Pawan

If we feel real sensations of poison like, dying like, damaged like, does that mean we are going to die ? Please tell me I felt acidic & like my cells fragmented in my brain. After drinking patanjali mango & mosambi juice after fasting. Is sensation means true damage ? Please guide me🙏

Doctors' responses

Feeling tense or abnormal sensations after consuming something on an empty stomach, like juice, can indeed be alarming, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re experiencing genuine poisoning or brain damage. The symptoms you’re describing—acidic feelings and unusual brain sensations—might be linked to how your body is reacting to the juice given your fasting state and possibly other sensitivities. Acids present in juices can sometimes cause gastrointestinal discomfort or exacerbate conditions like acid reflux, which might feel like a burning sensation. If your blood sugar was low due to fasting, the sudden intake of sugar from the juice could also have caused unusual sensations. It’s unlikely these sensations mean actual brain damage, but they are your body’s way of signaling discomfort. You should also consider any possible allergies or intolerances, as this could be another factor. Although serious, acute poisoning from a commercially prepared juice is uncommon, if the sensations persist, are worsening, or you experience symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pain, or a persistent headache, you should seek medical attention promptly. Consult a healthcare provider to evaluate your symptoms and any possible underlying conditions or interactions. Until then, monitor what you consume after fasting and consider reintroducing foods and beverages in small, balanced amounts to see how your body responds. Remember, only a professional can offer a precise diagnosis, so any concerning, persisting symptoms should be addressed with a healthcare visit.
