When trying to conceive after IUD removal, it’s not uncommon for your menstrual cycle to take some time to regulate. With a cycle on day 50 and negative pregnancy tests, it may simply be a case of irregular ovulation patterns as your body adjusts. You’ve mentioned using Letrozole, a medication that helps induce ovulation, and having a significant follicle size earlier in the cycle, which is positive as it indicates ovulation potential. However, the absence of cysts and ongoing ovarian activity might suggest your cycle is still recalibrating. If this pattern of delayed cycles persists, consider speaking with your healthcare provider about further evaluating your reproductive health. They may conduct blood tests to check hormone levels such as FSH, LH, and thyroid function, which can influence cycle regularity. An ultrasound could provide more insights into whether the follicle is indeed resolving or if other factors might influence your cycle. Depending on these results and your unique situation, your doctor might adjust your treatment plan. It may also be beneficial to track ovulation using over-the-counter kits or basal body temperature monitoring to better time intercourse when trying to conceive. If fertility concerns remain after cycle regularity is established, look into further reproductive endocrinology evaluation. While a delay or irregular cycle can be frustrating, maintaining a balanced diet, managing stress, and having a healthy lifestyle supports overall reproductive health during this period. If at any point you experience severe symptoms like intense pain or heavy bleeding, reach out to a healthcare professional promptly.
