sinus infection headache - #13138
I am really worried because I’ve been dealing with this sinus infection headache for like two weeks now. At first, I thought it was just a cold, but the pressure in my forehead has been unbearable! I’ve tried over-the-counter meds like ibuprofen and decongestants, but nothing seems to work. I can feel these throbbing pains that just don’t go away, especially when I bend down or tilt my head. Also, there’s this weird post-nasal drip that’s really gross and makes me feel nauseous sometimes. The doc prescribed antibiotics for the sinus infection, but the headache still won’t budge! Shouldn’t this sinus infection headache go away with the antibiotics? I’ve even done steam inhalation and warm compresses, but nope, still hurting. Is it common for the sinus infection headache to linger like this, or should I be really concerned? I mean, is there something more severe happening? Any suggestions on how to alleviate this sinus infection headache, or am I just being paranoid here? Honestly, this is the worst!
