lemon water in fever - #15865
I am feeling super overwhelmed right now. Last week, I came down with a fever outta nowhere. It started with chills and then I was sweating buckets, like ugh. I tried resting, but when my temp hit 102°F, I panicked a bit and started googling home remedies. I read somewhere that lemon water in fever could help, but I wasn't sure how actually effective it is. Like, should I drink it all day or just sometimes? Also, am I supposed to drink it hot or cold? I saw a bunch of people mixing it with honey, but honestly, the thought of that kinda makes me feel nauseous right now. My throat hurts too. Anyway, I tried lemon water in fever yesterday and it felt okay, but I’m still feeling sluggish. Is lemon water in fever really a good idea or is it just one of those trendy things? My doctor suggested staying hydrated, but with this fever hanging on, I feel like I need more than just water. What do all you docs recommend? More lemon water in fever or something else entirely? Would love some insight!
