I am seriously wondering if aloe vera gel is good for dry skin because my skin has been a mess lately. A week ago, I noticed my elbows and knees started getting super itchy and flaky, and I have no idea why! I took a trip to the beach and thought maybe all that sun exposure was the culprit, but I'm starting to think it might just be the cold weather. Anyway, I looked up some remedies and saw that aloe vera gel is good for dry skin, but I’m not sure if it'll help me. A friend mentioned it can soothe irritation too, which sounds amazing. I've been trying moisturizers and lotions but they just sit on the surface without really sinking in. If aloe vera gel is good for dry skin, how do I even apply it? Should I put it on directly or mix it with something else? I tried a store-bought one, but it felt kinda sticky. I’m skeptical about natural remedies honestly.
