I am really struggling with my skin tone lately. I’ve tried so many products, and nothing seems to work. A friend told me about aloe vera for skin lightening and I’m curious if it really does something or if it’s just another fad. I've gotten some dark spots on my cheeks and around my forehead, totally frustrating! I started applying pure aloe vera gel about two weeks ago every night, but I don’t see much difference yet, and I’m kinda worried if I'm doing it right. Are there certain ways you’re supposed to use aloe vera for skin lightening, or maybe specific times of the day that’s better? Sometimes, I feel like I’m just slapping it on there and hoping for a miracle, you know? Plus, like, how long should I use it before I can expect actual results? I read somewhere that mixing aloe vera with lemon gives it an extra boost for lightening, but isn’t that too harsh for the skin? I'm kinda in this dilemma over whether to keep going with the aloe vera for skin lightening or try something else. Also if it does work, will I have to use it forever to maintain the results? Just really looking for some real experiences or, you know, advice from doctors who actually know this stuff.
