I am really confused about what to eat in cough situations. Like, I’ve had this really annoying cough for the past few days, and honestly, it’s driving me crazy. I keep thinking, okay, what can I eat in cough? I’ve tried sipping on hot tea and some soup, but it doesn’t seem to help. I mean, I read somewhere that a clear broth is good but is there any specific food that can make a difference? One of my friends mentioned honey, and I tried that but still coughing a lot. My throat feels irritated, and I wonder if I should be avoiding certain foods or drinks. Milk made me feel extra phlegmy, and I find that weird! Also, what’s the deal with spicy food? Some say it helps clear the sinuses, but other say it might make it worse. I just need to figure out what to eat in cough situations because I still want to enjoy food and not just live on water and throat lozenges. If anyone can share what they recommend eating, that would be super helpful! Maybe even what works in preventing a cough or easing it a bit?
