I am really confused about this whole thing with isabgol. Last month, I started feeling really bloated and constipated. Like, I can't remember the last time I had a good, normal bowel movement. My doctor recommended isabgol and said it's basically this fiber thing that can help. But how does isabgol work? I mean, does it just swell up in your stomach or what? So I started taking the isabgol powder with water, like my doc said, and I do feel a bit different, but I feel like I'm not using it correctly. Like, how does isabgol work exactly to help with constipation? I keep hearing it's good for gut health too, but can it really do that?
